When it comes to Secondary Market Support, Matt Smith takes the lead on providing a few of our fund admin clients with marketing support for their investment funds.

The details

For select clients, Paralel provides secondary market support for the client’s investment funds.
At the outset, we take a deep dive into the client to understand where they are in the distribution
lifecycle. From there, we work with the client to build or enhance their marketing strategy, both
through digital and more traditional channels. Initiatives of this nature have included website
redesign, brand analysis, product positioning, CRM build out, email campaign support, prospect
data vendor analysis, conference coordination and strategy, just to name a few. For some
clients, a marketing budget is set aside that we manage in order to execute on these initiatives.
Further, our secondary market efforts include a splash of relationship support by way of
providing market environment education to the fund board. This entails quarterly presentations
to the board and getting to know the individual trustee personalities at board dinners and the like.
